Fifty-seven price cuts now ask under $250k, the busiest band
Five asking-price bands hold a cut · 57 cuts in the busiest · median 43 days listed.
Among the 177 price cuts in East Tennessee since the last edition, fifty-seven now ask in the Under $250k band, more than in any other. That is 32% of the cuts.
The bands run in steps from under $250,000 to $900,000 and up, and a home goes in the band its asking price falls in after the cut. The busiest three: Under $250k has fifty-seven, $250–400k has fifty-six, $400–600k has thirty.
A cut is counted when a listing's asking price is lower than it was at our last check. A listing cut twice since then shows as one cut. Every price here is an asking price on an active listing, and a median needs three homes or it is left out.
Together the Under $250k cuts took $719,752 off asking prices, and the median cut is $10,000, or 4.4% of the old asking price. After the cut, asking prices run from $15,000 to $249,900, and the median asking price is $136,000. That median cut is 1.6 points deeper than the 2.8% median across every price cut in the edition. The median home had been listed 43 days when its cut was seen, counted to this edition from the listing's own date.
The biggest cut among them is at Lot 20,23& 24 Timber Ridge Lane, Celina, TN 38551 in Celina: down $50,000, from $110,000 to $60,000, or 45.5%.
The table shows every band that holds a cut, and each row opens the homes in it. The twenty-four deepest cuts of the 57 are shown below, and the search on the main page looks through every active home. Each address opens that home's own page.
