One hundred seventy-six new-construction homes ask $300–400k, the busiest price band
6 asking-price bands hold a new build · 176 homes in the busiest · median 75 days listed.
Among the new-construction listings in East Tennessee that show an asking price, one hundred seventy-six fall in the $300–400k band, more than in any other. That is 21% of the 844 priced homes.
The bands run in steps from under $300,000 to $800,000 and up, and a home goes in the band its asking price falls in. A listing with no asking price is not counted in any band.
Asking prices among the $300–400k homes run from $300,000 to $399,900, and the median asking price is $349,950. That median is $149,950 below the $499,900 median for every new-construction listing on the market. The median listing has been on the market 75 days, from one that arrived Nov 5 to one listed since Sep 30.
They are spread over thirty-five cities: Knoxville leads with seventy-one, Maryville has twelve and Clinton has eleven.
The table shows every band that holds a new build, and each row opens the homes in it. Asking prices are those of active listings, never sale prices, and a median needs three priced homes or it is left out. The newest twenty-four of the 176 homes are shown below, and the search on the main page looks through all of them. Each address opens that home's own page.
