Among the 799 active estates that state a lot size, 393 sit on under one acre, more than in any other band. That is 49% of them.
The bands run in steps from under one acre to ten acres or more, and an estate goes in the band its stated lot size falls in. A band says how big a lot is, not what it could be used for. The other bands: 1 to 3 acres has one hundred fifty-one, 3 to 5 acres has forty-eight, 5 to 10 acres has fifty-seven, 10 acres or more has one hundred fifty.
Every price here is an asking price on an active listing, taken from the MLS feed and our own copy of it. An estate is a home asking $1,000,000 or more and under $5,000,000, a price band and nothing else.
