Among the 784 active estates that state a lot size, 385 sit on under one acre, more than in any other band. That is 49% of them.
The bands run in steps from under one acre to ten acres or more, and an estate goes in the band its stated lot size falls in. A band says how big a lot is, not what it could be used for. The other bands: 1 to 3 acres has one hundred fifty-four, 3 to 5 acres has forty-five, 5 to 10 acres has fifty-five, 10 acres or more has one hundred forty-five.
Every price here is an asking price on an active listing, taken from the MLS feed and our own copy of it. An estate is a home asking $1,000,000 or more and under $5,000,000, a price band and nothing else. A lot size, a year or a size is what the listing states, and an estate that states none is left out of every figure that needs it. A median needs three homes or it is left out.
